Jeff Tobler is founder and Executive Director of Eternal Promises, an international ministry proclaiming the many eternal promises of God fulfilled exclusively through Jesus Christ, His Son!
Jeff prefers to say, “The most important qualification is, although I was once a blasphemer and chief of sinners, I am now a repentant sinner saved by the grace of our Lord, bought with a very costly price of the blood of Jesus, washed, renewed, and redeemed! And the most accurate title is Bondservant of the Lord. I serve at His pleasure.”
Since it’s inception in 2004, by the leading and calling of the Lord, Eternal Promises has printed and distributed in-depth teachings, creative gospel tracts, books, and other resources to encourage believers, evangelize the lost, and defend the faith. During this time, Jeff has had the privilege of proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to individuals, small groups, churches and home churches of all sizes, throughout the USA and abroad.
Jeff also uses horses to minister to children and adults, through horse lessons or in a theatrical setting.
Missionary Work
In 2008, Jeff and his oldest son Charlie (13 at the time) were called to Uganda, Africa, as missionaries for one month. They traveled from Kampala to several other towns and small villages, ministering along the way. Jeff’s experience in Uganda was truly transformational and deeply emotional. He was privileged to openly share the gospel with Muslims, one of which he helped baptize at the mouth of the Nile River in Lake Victoria after hearing the gospel. It was during this trip that the Lord showed Jeff some very personal insights, as well as lessons for the Body of Christ.
Then in 2010, Jeff was called to Ukraine, along with his son Charlie, again. This trip lasted two months and consisted of preaching and teaching in several churches across Ukraine.
Planting a Seed
In 2017, along with his wife, Karen, two sons, and two daughters-in-law, Jeff planted the first local Eternal Promises church called Eternal Promises Community Church, located in Saint Clair, Missouri, of which he currently serves as Senior Pastor. Christian Tobler and Joshua Bailey serve as pastoral teachers and focus on apologetics. Charlie Tobler is the worship leader. Karen, co-founder, is also a director and Sr. administrator – without her, what would we do?!
The Impact of a Babe in a Manger
This Christmas, in Dec. 2021, our small but vibrant congregation presented its 4th annual Journey To Bethlehem — an interactive live nativity and outdoor drama telling the advent of Jesus Christ and featuring the full gospel message. Over 1230 people heard and experienced the event that changed the world! We could not have done this without God’s provision and His amazing grace.
Outreach Over the Air!
Jeff also hosts the Eternal Promises Radio Show, which has been broadcast since 2015 and which has been heard on many radio stations across the US and currently streamed worldwide. Broadcasts include topical discussions as well as in-depth interviews with encouraging Christian leaders such as Bruce Marchiano (the Encounter series on PureFlix) and Chuck Bentley, CEO of Crown Ministries.

Eternal Promises is about to release Jeff Tobler’s new 5-part teaching series called The Chronicles of Gideon, designed for churches and small group studies. This powerful study series will encourage you in your faith and cause you to rethink so assumptions about Gideon, whom the Lord calls a mighty man of valor.
