In 1973, Roe v. Wade removed the individual state’s ability to regulate abortion. After the overturn of Roe v. Wade in 2022, the states now have control to legislate abortion. Many States are fighting to enforce pro-life laws already on the books, or are trying to pass new pro-life laws. The current standing of the state’s legislation as of July 16th, 2022 is below.
